HOLY FAMILY GRADE SCHOOL 2023-2024

Dear Holy Family Grade School Parents,

On behalf of Father Garcias, Dr. Suelto, The Clergy, Grade School Faculty/Staff, and PTO Board, I welcome you all to Holy Family’s 2023-2024 school year! Hope everyone had a great summer season filled with fun and plenty of relaxation.

Dear Parents – we are grateful for your confidence for choosing a Catholic education for your children. Holy Family Grade School was voted the Best Private School in Glendale, California four consecutive times.  It is a prestigious honor to earn and become the most inviting private school for its academic achievement, the school’s focusing on the Spiritual, Emotional, Intellectual, Physical, and Health Wellness of our children.

School activities include ALA (Academic League & Ambassadors) Team, Concert Chorus, Robotics, Dance, Cheer, and several other sports activities, musical instruments, online learning tools, field trips, altar serving, and others.

Our school website format will enable us to navigate through specific programs and days to see all the details of the school events. Kindly review the calendar as needed to help guide you through the year’s events.

PTO Board and Members are here to help, support and assist parents and faculty to achieve the best outcomes for our students and our community. Some of the events that PTO will be responsible for are the upcoming Parish Country Fair, March Madness, Jog-a-thon, and several other fundraising events. We ask you support through volunteer hours above and beyond the required hours, support the various school programs, and more.

Thank you and blessings to all of you,

Tony Makhoul – HFGS PTO Board President

Holy Family Parent Teacher Organizati0n includes all parents of children registered in school. Much of the success of the school is due to the wonderful support and aid given by this organization. The PTO meetings are a very important form of commitment and it is, therefore, required that at least one parent attend each of the three meetings listed below. These meetings are for parents, not children. They are listed in advance so that you can arrange for childcare. One service hour per family is earned by attending the general meetings. For each meeting missed there is a $50.00 fee.

The financial support of the PTO helps to keep down tuition costs and maintains a mutual spirit of cooperation between home and school in the interest of the children.

Each family is required to pay the $50.00 PTO dues. This amount is due July 14, 2023. A separate check is to be written payable to Holy Family Parent Teacher Organization.
