ROBOTICS

The robotics program at Holy Family Grade School is led by Dr. Kiladjian and it is an extracurricular activity offered on Mondays and Fridays. In line with the academic disciplines of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), students, from grades 4th through 8th, collaborate to develop their problem-solving, algorithmic reasoning, communication, and collaboration skills. As students construct and program age-appropriate robots using their iPads, they also build camaraderie with one another.

For the first time, Holy Family Grade School participated in a robotics competition in 2017 that included regional public and private schools in addition to those from China. The annual World Educational Robotics competition gave students the opportunity to demonstrate their technological and engineering skills. Keeping faith in our school’s mission to facilitate student development and motto, “Where Aspiration Begins Early, and Thrives,” our robotics students will continue to participate in robotics competitions and strive to excel.
