Kendall Ballestero, 7th Grade, won the Msgr. Brouwer’s Memorial Scholarship Essay Contest among the 7th grade contestants from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. When our Middle School students were invited, all our ALA – Academic League and Ambassadors submitted their grade level essay entry. They all competed for one of the three $500 scholarships. Our ALA contestants developed the topic: How does the way you live your life bear witness to Jesus? 6th and 7th grade ALA will be attended the Missionary Childhood Association Mass celebrated by Archbishop Jose Gomez on Tuesday at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels in Los Angeles. ALA supported Kendall as she received her certificate and scholarship win right after the Mass.
