CHARACTER FORMATION

The character formation of students in Holy Family Grade School is vital, surpassing the importance of academics. It is concerned with the acquisition of the cardinal virtues and human virtues, with fostering morality and with much more: the daily living out of a relationship of love with Jesus Christ. It is ongoing, touching all aspects of school life and, of course, concerns much more than “not getting in trouble”. It depends on the example and support of parents, teachers and administrators living out the ideals it hopes to foster in students. It is, finally, a true work of the Holy Spirit, that looks to the free correspondence of students to prayer and the graces of an active sacramental life.
