Mrs. Beatriz Herrera

This is my first year working at Holy Family Grade School and I am excited to be working with you and your children for their TK year. I am a product of Catholic school education and am blessed to be able to share this experience with your children. 

I hold a B.S. in Human Services, a certificate in Early Childhood Education and most recently received my Educational Therapist certificate from UC Riverside. I have spent the past two years working as a private homeschool teacher/tutor and Educational Therapist and I am happy to be back in a classroom setting. 

My professional experience includes 25 years of teaching in a private, progressive elementary school where I was the founding TK teacher and helped create the curriculum that still stands at that school. I have also taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. 

The TK curriculum will include: Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Religion and Social Emotional lessons. 

The TK year will be a warm, safe and engaging learning environment filled with hands-on learning activities, story time to enrich the academic subjects and many opportunities to fulfill Holy Family’s Schoolwide Learning Expectations.
