Dear Parents,

My name is Nickol (pronounced Nee-Ko) Gutierrez, and I am delighted to
be your child’s art teacher! I have two daughters who currently attend
Holy Family Grade School (Ava & Harlow) and my wife is a proud Holy
Family alum! I received my bachelor’s degree in Marketing from
California State University of, Los Angeles and I have over a decade
of hands-on, technical art training and worked directly with industry
professionals from Disney and MTV.  My portfolio includes traditional
oil and acrylic on canvas, airbrush, woodworking, custom automotive &
aluminum paint design, mixed media, and digital art.  I hope that my
unconventional artistic training and experience will benefit and bring
a unique new perspective for current and future students.

This is my second-year teaching at Holy Family Grade School, and I hope
at the end of the 2023-2024 school year, students will have gained the
confidence and education needed to hone their own natural artistic
abilities.
