Mr. Jared Soliman
Welcome 6th grade students and families!
My name is Mr. Jared Soliman and I am thrilled to be a part of the HFGS faculty. 6th grade entails a time for transition and an introduction to life as a middle school student. While these first few months will be more challenging than elementary school, it will also be more exhilarating, uplifting, and overall fun. Your first year of middle school will set the foundation for what’s to come in 7th and 8th grade.
I am proud to be your 6th grade Homeroom teacher! I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Computer Science from Loyola Marymount University. I will be attending LMU once again in the fall to pursue a Master’s Degree in Urban Education. With my past experience in coaching sports and dance, I enjoy bringing these gifts to Holy Family’s Volleyball and Hip-Hop Teams.
My ultimate goal for my students is to prove that math can be as entertaining as it is educational. I hope to show all students that math can be fun, especially when taken off the paper and used in the real world. We will execute numerous mathematical games and activities throughout the year and I hope to convince those who fear math to feel otherwise. That being said, I expect all students to be engaged, motivated, and humbly competitive in order to achieve the best out of my class!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at [email protected] I am determined to give you all a spectacular year – welcome back!
