Miss Danielle Del Rosario

Hello, Families and Students!

My name is Danielle Del Rosario, and I am truly delighted to embark on an exciting journey of art with you all. This 2021-2022 school year marks my first time teaching at Holy Family Grade School. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this special and welcoming community. The visual arts have been present in my life for as long as I can remember. Coming from a family that wholeheartedly encouraged me to pursue my creative interests and passions, I hope to do the same for my students.

I graduated from Immaculate Heart High School in 2016, then went on to receive my BA in Studio Art with a concentration on Photography and Graphic Design, as well a minor in Sociology, from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 2020. When integrated with the academic curriculum, I believe the role of the arts in a child’s education is unique and valuable to their individual learning experience. Through the introduction of the basic art principles and elements, exploration of notable artists, art movements and current events, and creation of projects using various mediums, my endeavor is to help students foster their individuality and work alongside them to recognize their artistry. Not only is art an outlet to freely express oneself, but it encourages critical thinking, innovation, determination, and resilience. The possibilities in the art room are endless and I’m eager to see all of the beautiful works we’ll be creating together!

Classes are to take place once a week for each grade level. You can best reach me at [email protected]; my email is always open if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat about all things art.

Thank you and I can’t wait to see you in the art room!

Sincerely,
Miss Danielle Del Rosario
