Miss Alexandra Isaac
Welcome TK families!
My name is Miss Alexa Isaac and I am so excited to be your child’s TK teacher! I am a proud graduate of Holy Family Grade School so I am blessed to be back, this time as a teacher. I graduated from Bishop Alemany High School, then received my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Attending Catholic school throughout my entire educational career has given me a firm foundation in my religion, and I am excited to be sharing this with my students.
This will be my fourth year teaching, and I have found that although regular instruction is still important, younger children learn through play. Though this does include the social cues they will be learning on the playground during recess, it is important that the children stay engaged in the classroom. So, my classwork and other activities include guided play, group work, centers, as well as free play.
Our class curriculum will include Religion, Math, Language Arts, Reading, Social Studies, and Science. They will also have Art, Technology, Music, and Spanish, taught by the other wonderful teachers. As your child becomes more comfortable with the daily routine, you will see a growth in their independence.
I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s education, as the parent is a child’s first teacher and I am blessed to join you on this journey.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime through GradeLink, or through my email [email protected].
I look forward to meeting you all!
