Mrs. Maria Talavera

Dear Parents,

Welcome to a new school year at Holy Family Grade School.  I am looking forward to having the students in the Computer Lab this year. I hope to create a partnership with you and your child, that will foster enthusiasm for learning, and ensure academic success.

Good attendance, behavior, and citizenship at school are vital elements for the learning process. During the first two weeks of school, the students will learn all Computer Lab rules, which will include digital citizenship. I will also inform them about the various computer programs and the different digital projects for the school year.

Developing a strong partnership between school and home will ensure that your child will reach his/her full potential, and meet all NETS and STEM standards. Meeting our SLE’s is also a goal for all at HFGS. One of them is: “A student of Holy Family Grade School is technologically literate.”

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each one of you in advance for your support in the upcoming school year.  Our theme for this year will be COURAGE. It is important to always do our best, and always do what is right.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year.  I can be reached at: [818] 243-9239 x 412 or via e-mail at: MTalavera@hfgsglendale.org.

Best regards,

Mrs. Maria Talavera, M.C.S.E.
