Miss Elisha Ty

Hello Second Grade Parents!

My name is Miss Elisha Ty and I am very excited to start my fourth year here at Holy Family Grade School as your child’s second grade teacher!  I am very blessed to have been a part of the Holy Family Grade School Community and to have been serving you and your children.

I grew up in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.  I attended Saint Finbar Catholic School from Kindergarten through 8th grade and then moved on to receive my high school diploma from Providence High School.  After high school, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California – Riverside.  Last year, I completed my master’s program at Loyola Marymount University, graduating with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.

To my Second Grade Students:  I am so excited to teach each and every one of you!  This year is going to be filled with lots of joy-filled learning!  I am so excited to introduce to you the wonderful and blessed Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

To the Second Grade Parents:  I am looking forward to working with you.  You are their primary educator, and I am here to support you and your child’s growth.  We, as one community, will build the faith and education of these children.  Communication is key in working as one community.  Please do not hesitate to contact me at (818) 243-9239 x 405 or via e-mail.

Holy Family Grade School’s theme for the 2018 – 2019 school year is COURAGE, which will help us grow as young individuals, standing up for oneself and others.  I am determined to make this year a joyful and blessed one. Welcome to a brand new school year!

All the best,

Miss Elisha Ty, M.Ed.
